BEACH CLEANUP QUESTIONS
A: Yes absolutely! Just make sure to bring your community service hours form and our Save Our Shores representative will sign it. If your child is under 18, be sure a guardian can attend the cleanup with them.
A: We love dogs! As long as the dog is well behaved, dogs are most welcome at a beach cleanup on a dog-friendly beach.
A: There is no need to register for public beach cleanups; however, to save time and paper, you can sign our waiver before you attend.
A: Yes! We are always happy to be interviewed. Please just let us know ahead of time so we can prepare!
A: It’s not required! We provide gloves, grabbers, trash bags, buckets, data cards, and everything else required for a successful cleanup. However, if you have your own supplies, you are welcome to bring and use them. Please note that you must use the data cards we provide.
A: We recommend wearing casual and comfortable clothes that are easy to wash as may be needed. Be sure to bring layers for warmth and sun protection, and wear closed toed shoes.
A: Upon arrival at the event’s meet up location, make sure you check for permit signs. Also, each event posted on our Events Calendar will provide details on parking if it’s limited or restricted.
A: Yes! The more the merrier! We only request that you let us know if you bring a group of 10+ so we can prepare supplies appropriately.
A: Yes you can! Just make sure you have a parent or guardian sign the Save Our Shores waiver for them.
