GENERAL QUESTIONS
A: Please contact the Marine Mammal Center of Moss Landing immediately. You can call them at 831 633 6298. DO NOT come in contact with the mammal in the mean time!
A: You can purchase items by stopping by our office, office hours vary please contact volunteer@saveourshores.org to schedule a visit. We’re located at 345 Lake Avenue Suite A in Santa Cruz. We are working on an e-store too!

BEACH CLEANUP QUESTIONS
A: Yes absolutely! Just make sure to bring your community service hours form and our Save Our Shores representative will sign it. If your child is under 18, be sure an adult can attend the cleanup with them.
A: We love dogs! As long as the dog is well behaved, dogs are most welcome at a beach cleanup on a dog-friendly beach.
A: Yes, interested volunteers must register to join us by clicking the green register button on the event details from our Events Calendar. To save time, you can sign our waiver before you attend.
A: Yes! We are always happy to be interviewed. Please just let us know ahead of time so we can prepare!
A: Save Our Shores cleanup events are rain or shine unless weather is predicted to be severe or dangerous. We will notify you of an event cancellation via our event calendar and on our Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Registered participants will also receive an email.
A: It’s not required! We provide gloves, grabbers, trash bags, buckets, data cards, and everything else required for a successful cleanup. However, if you have your own supplies, you are welcome to bring and use them. Please note that you must use the data cards we provide.
A: We recommend wearing casual and comfortable clothes that are easy to wash as may be needed. Be sure to bring layers for warmth and sun protection, and wear closed toed shoes.
A: Upon arrival at the event’s meet up location, make sure you check for permit signs. Also, each event posted on our Events Calendar will provide details on parking if it’s limited or restricted.
A: Yes! The more the merrier! We only request that you let us know if you bring a group of 10+ so we can prepare supplies appropriately.
A: Yes you can! Just make sure you have a parent or guardian sign the Save Our Shores waiver for them, and that an adult is present for the duration of the event.
