Get involved in restoration projects and learn about different organizations involved in wetland conservation and education.
Watsonville is home to one of the largest remaining freshwater marshlands in California’s coastal zone. Our wetlands and sloughs provide resting spaces for many species of migrating birds and are home to 23 native plants and animal species that are listed as threatened, endangered, or of special concern. Join us to help preserve and restore these precious natural habitats.
*Students may receive community service hours by participating in this event.
*Parking available behind 1830 Main St. next to the Struve Slough trail entrance.
