Did you know that Santa Cruz has the opportunity to turn the 5,800 acres of Coast Dairies property—located north of Wilder Ranch State Park and south of Swanton Pacific Ranch—into a permanently protected and publicly accessible national monument? It’s true! And you can help make the Santa Cruz Redwoods National Monument a reality!

It’s no secret: we, at Save Our Shores, love the north coast of Santa Cruz!

Our passion for the region fueled the launch of our XStream beach cleanup program in 2013, with the support of the County of Santa Cruz. And, it’s also why we expanded our cleanup efforts in the area in 2014 via North Coast Cleanup Day, a program made possible with the help of State Parks and NOAA.

Santa Cruz National Monument Map ImageWe believe the north coast of Santa Cruz deserves national attention. That’s why we’re asking you to join us in our support of the campaign for the Santa Cruz Redwoods National Monument.

On Thursday, Feb. 12, you can learn all about the Coast Dairies property and how we can encourage President Obama and Congress to designate it as the Santa Cruz Redwoods National Monument.

See you at the FREE kick-off event at Kaiser Permanente Arena!
