While we are cancelling the event at the Rio to help ensure public health and safety, we are exploring the option to host this as a digital event and hope to post updated details soon.

Join Save Our Shores at the Rio Theatre on April 2nd as we kick off Earth Month with an impactful film screening of the movie YOUTH UNSTOPPABLE! “YOUTH UNSTOPPABLE takes us inside the rise of the Global Youth Climate Movement. Slater Jewell-Kemker was 15 when she began documenting the untold stories of youth on the front lines of climate change refusing to let their futures slip away. Over the course of 12 years and set against stunning visuals of a planet in crisis, YOUTH UNSTOPPABLE follows the evolution of a diverse network of youth rising up to shape the world they will live in.” Learn more about the film here.

Following the film, we will hear from youth leaders and organizers about how they are taking action to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change, and to make change both locally and globally. This event will be the second of our Earth Day 50 Speaker Series Events, highlighting the importance of this pivotal year by discussing growing problems and groundbreaking solutions for our oceans and climate.

Get your tickets here! Online tickets are $5 for students and youth under 18 years, and $8 for adults over 18. Adult tickets are $10 at the door.
