On Saturday, August 3, 2019, NOAA’s Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary will host its 6th National “Get into Your Sanctuary” celebration at Monterey Bay Kayaks (MBK) in Monterey, CA. This system-wide event will raise awareness about the value of our sanctuaries as iconic destinations for responsible recreation through a series of special activities at MBK and on Del Monte Beach.
Join the sanctuary in a fun-filled day of activities and immerse yourself by renting a kayak, taking a kayak tour or class, and participate in a beach clean-up at 1pm on Del Monte Beach.
