In light of the rapidly unfolding COVID-19 pandemic, as of March 13, 2020, based on recommendations made by the County of Santa Cruz Health Service Agency, the Santa Cruz Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at San Lorenzo Park has been postponed until further notice.
Please keep an eye on the Earth Day web page https://scearthday.org for updates. We are looking for other meaningful ways in April to honor Earth Day and ideas are welcome.
Earth Day Santa Cruz is an annual event bringing our community together to promote environmental stewardship, healthy living, and sustainability. Together with local businesses, schools, and community organizations, we engage our citizens through education, hands on learning, inspirational activities, and place a special emphasis on youth participation. We strive to celebrate the importance of protecting our Earth’s resources and to collaborate on empowering the environmental movement in Santa Cruz County and beyond.
