Hear from local climate leaders working on sustainable agriculture, coastal resilience, land protection and carbon sequestration, citizen science, and actions you and your family can take now to cut emissions, save money and prepare for climate change. Find out how you can turn your concern and fear about climate change into action and hope for all of us.

Program with speakers and panels is from 6-8pm.
Opening speaker: John Laird will report on the UN Climate Change Conference (COP) in Egypt, and climate-related State legislation.
John will be followed by 2 panels with speakers including: Gary Griggs, Sarah Newkirk, Sacha Lozano, Tiffany Wise West, Alex Yasbek, Felicia Van Stolk, Justin Cummings, and a student from the Cabrillo Environmental Program.
Closing speaker: Bella Bonner, Founder of Black Surf Santa Cruz, Inc.

Food: Sandwich (1/2 hearty sandwich per person) fruit, and cookies will be available at no charge. Please choose your preference with your ticket.
Parking: Cost $4. Limited parking at Horticultural Center. Additional parking just below center and walk up gentle hill to the Horticultural center.
