Three girls walk on a beach on a clear blue day with buckets and gloves in hand.Join Save Our Shores and MM Green Packaging Solutions for a fun and informative cleanup at Seacliff State Beach! We will be partnering to educate beachgoers and volunteers about their options when it comes to reducing waste their personal waste!

“Instead of this, try this!”

We will display and discuss alternatives for the plastic trash items we find on the beach, as well as find out which brands are most polluting our beaches! MM Green will also be displaying alternatives for the cannabis industry’s mass amount of plastic packaging!

Please meet us at the picnic tables across from the main entrance of the beach (next to the snack shack and bathrooms). We recommend that all volunteers dress in layers, wear sun protection, and bring a filled reusable water bottle. Please avoid bringing any single-use plastic to this cleanup. Volunteers under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Closed-toed shoes are required at all Save Our Shores cleanups. Restrooms and drinking fountains are available onsite.

No RSVPs are necessary, but you can print and complete our waiver beforehand to save time: saveourshores.org/waiver [Be sure to bring your signed copy (1 per volunteer) to the event.]

If you have additional questions, please contact nia@saveourshores.org.
