Aquaculture Speaker Series Event

Join us for our next Speaker Series! This event will be entitled Food, Biofuels, and Clean Oceans: Is Aquaculture the Answer to a Sustainable Future? Our FREE Speaker Series will be located at and co-hosted by the incredible research facility, Moss Landing Marine Labs (MLML), from 6-8:30pm on Wednesday, May 1st.

This educational and intriguing evening will include:

6 to 7pm
-Reception featuring some local delicious aquaculture treats and other refreshments

7 to 8:30pm
-Why Save Our Shores is now promoting restorative aquaculture – Katherine O’Dea, ED of Save Our Shores
-Introduction to MLML and their intriguing vision for aquaculture – Dr. Jim Harvey, Director MLML
-Evening’s feature talk and presentation on the possibilities that aquaculture offers our community – Dr. Michael Graham, Phycology Professor at MLML and Aquaculture Entrepreneur
-The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session
