Earth Day Earth Week River Cleanup Special Event Volunteer Event

Help “bridge the gap” and build a connection to your river, to downtown Santa Cruz and to your community!

Meet at Yoso Wellness Spa in the Galleria at 2:45 p.m. for the start of the event, where you can choose to help remove debris along the Riverwalk, or join a restoration project! Volunteers will receive all necessary supplies such as receive gloves, buckets, trash grabbers, and trowels to help clean and beautify the San Lorenzo River and Santa Cruz Riverwalk. At the end of the event, we’ll celebrate the litter we’ve cleaned up and the habitat improvements we’ve made by walking over for happy hour and prize raffle at Hotel Paradox, Autograph Collection!

Encouraging a zero waste event, please bring your own gardening gloves and trash grabbers, trowels, etc. if you can!

All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
 
We recommend that all volunteers dress in layers, wear sun protection, and bring a filled reusable water bottle.
