Thank you volunteers for making Annual Coastal Cleanup Day 2021 a success!

#ProtectYourHappyPlace

This year on September 18th, 2021 we hosted 62 cleanup events where 1,774 dedicated volunteers removed 4,812 pounds of debris from our beaches, rivers, and inland parks around the Monterey Bay!

You can still participate! Conduct a self guided cleanup whenever and wherever you can during the whole month of September! Simply download the Clean Swell App to collect data on the types of trash you find, follow the safety steps below, and head out to your favorite spot.
