Businesses as Coastal Stewards: Support our local Coastal Cleanup Day!

 The natural beauty of Santa Cruz County is at the foundation of our community.  It brings thousands of visitors here each year and it inspires our unique culture. Citizens, visitors and businesses all have to pitch in to protect and enhance our beautiful beaches, rivers and sloughs. 

 
Coastal Cleanup Day is a perfect opportunity to show the community that your business cares.  Get involved by choosing one of our Coastal Cleanup Day sites for your business and employees to participate at.  

ACC Sponsorship:

The success of Coastal Cleanup Day depends on the support that Save Our Shores receives from our local government agencies and business community.  To become a Coastal Cleanup Day sponsor and include your company logo on all Coastal Cleanup Day 2010 promotional materials, the SOS website contact Emily at acc@saveourshores.org. 

If you are a business that cannot financially sponsor but would like to provide in-kind support such as sending employees to a cleanup site or providing food or refreshments to cleanup volunteers, please contact Emily at acc@saveourshores.org

Presentations:

Inspire your employees and increase your business’ participation in this long standing community tradition.  We offer educational presentations to businesses and their employees prior to Coastal Cleanup Day to provide valuable information on marine debris and the importance of participating in this international event.  Presentations are fun and vary in length, content and activities to fit your needs.  Please contact Emily at acc@saveourshores.org to schedule a presentation.
