Education & Resources

Here at Save Our Shores we believe education is a very important and effective tool for addressing many of the environmental issues that we are faced with today, particularly those that impact our marine environment. We feel it is important to provide up to date information on key topics such as marine debris and Marine Protected Areas,  as well as to find fun and interactive ways to disseminate our information.  Whether we are down on the beach coordinating a cleanup and talking about the hazards of marine debris with community volunteers or in the classroom playing one of our marine debris games with students, we take education seriously and believe it should always be fun and informative!

Marine Debris Facts

Are we beginning to mistake our oceans for our garbage cans? This fact sheet will give you the basics about the problem of marine debris, which may be out of sight for humans but remains a persistent problem for marine life.

Marine Protected Areas

Coming Soon, this will be a resource for discovering more about our Marine Protected Areas.
