These fun cleanup sites have special needs and extra info:

Santa Cruz Wharf SCUBA Site:  Divers have fun and help out at this site by removing underwater debris beneath and around the Santa Cruz Wharf.  All participants must be SCUBA certified. Pre-registration for the SCUBA cleanup is required through our site co-sponsor, Aqua Safaris.  If you are interested in participating at this site, please send an email to our site captain, DeDe at dede@aquasafaris.com and include “ACC SCUBA Cleanup registration” in the subject line. Please note that there will be no lifeguards on duty for the event.

Santa Cruz Wharf and Harbor Kayak Sites:  Through two site co-sponsors, Venture Quest Kayaks and the Kayak Connection, we are able to send kayakers out into our precious kelp beds to collect floating debris headed for the ocean.  Some free kayaks are available on a first come, first serve basis and must be reserved by registering for either kayak site.  Please note that there will be no lifeguards on duty for the event.
