Frans Lanting 2015 Calendar Giveaway Campaign

“I believe it is a privilege to live here and our responsibility to keep it the world-class environment we enjoy.”

A LETTER FROM FRANS LANTING

Friends,

I have lived all my life near the ocean – never farther away than 15 minutes. I’ve been here in Santa Cruz for over 30 years and find California’s ocean environment world-class. We are blessed with a number of respected research organizations that focus on protecting our coast and oceans.

One of these organizations, Save Our Shores, interacts with the ocean in a pragmatic, yet meaningful, way. It’s where we roll up our sleeves to keep our community beautiful. Save Our Shores organizes the local activities that empower us, our community and our visitors, to be stewards of the oceans. They keep all of us engaged!

I ask that you consider donating generously to Save Our Shores today! By doing so you’ll keep us all aware of how to be good stewards for the ocean environment.

Again this year, I am going a step further to encourage you to make an additional end-of-year gift to this important organization. For each $50 DONATION you make before the end of this year, you will be entered into a raffle for a signed open edition fine art print of your favorite photo from the enclosed 2016 calendar. I have left footsteps on all our beaches – there are too many beautiful shorelines here for me to choose a favorite. We are blessed. So I ask that you join me today in Saving Our Shores.

Warmly, Frans Lanting

Donate to Save Our Shores

Drawings for the signed open edition print of your favorite photo will be held on January 7th, 2016. Be sure to send in your gift before the year ends. Save Our Shores is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your financial contributions are critical to our success. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.
