DO YOU LOVE A CLEAN BEACH?

Save Our Shores’ bi-monthly Cleanup Cowells Project is the brainchild of our Sanctuary Steward extraordinaire, Haley Mander. Start your Sunday off with an old fashioned beach cleanup at one of the most popular beach destinations in Santa Cruz.

We recommend that all volunteers dress in layers, wear sun protection, and bring a reusable water bottle. Volunteers under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult.

All of Save Our Shores’ cleanups happen rain or shine. Remember, everything flows to the ocean, so it’s especially important to clean our Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary beaches during rain storms.

Meet Haley at the main entrance of Cowell Beach next to the public restrooms and the Dream Inn. You can’t miss her, Haley’s smile and personality is contagious!

As always, if you have any questions please contact cleanup@saveourshores.org.

See you on the sand,
Save Our Shores
