DOCK WALKING

Save Our Shores started the Dock Walkers program in 1994 to address the problem of non-point source oil spills from the recreational boating community. This program is considered one of our most successful and effective programs. Dock Walkers was adopted statewide in 1999 by the California Coastal Commission. Now, certified volunteers walk docks in marinas all along the coast of California!
