After graduating from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 2004 Jessie enrolled in the Americorps VISTA program researching and writing grants for the Monterey based Shelter Outreach Plus. Primarily involved in fundraising, budget preparation and grant management, Jessie now works for Shelter Outreach Plus as the Director of Development. Volunteering with Save Our Shores along with local chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and CalPIRG, Jessie strives to be a lifelong supporter of local non-profits. Never living more than 5 miles from the ocean, Jessie looks forward to her time with Save Our Shores and California’s Central Coast beaches which provide a lifetime venue for running, diving and surfing.
