Getting Involved in ACC Day!

Whether you're a regular beach cleanup participant or this is your first time, participating in ACC Day is exciting and easy.

What to Expect:

All participants should arrive at their site at 9 am ready to get to work! You should wear closed toe shoes, work clothes, sunscreen and a hat or sunglasses. Bring water and any tools or gloves that will help you clean. If you would like to learn more about a specific site you should visit the Beach Map on the Clean Beaches Coalition's website www.cleanbeachescoalition.org

A Site Captain will be at each site to sign you in and distribute supplies. Captains will provide latex gloves, trash and recycling bags, marine debris information, data cards, pencils, a safety briefing and lots of smiles!

Registration:

New this year… Register for Annual Coastal Cleanup Day online today! Whether you are an individual, a group or a business, reserve your ACC Day site now.  Online registration will be open until September 19th at Noon.

*While preregistration is encouraged and saves you time checking in on Annual Coastal Cleanup Day, it is not mandatory.  You can show up to your favorite site at 9 am on September 20th and register for the event on site with the Site Captain.*

Waiver forms must be signed by all participants; participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian signature as well.   We recommend that large groups and youth download the waiver ahead of time and bring it to the cleanup already signed.  Click here to download and print a waiver form to bring with you.
